48th Annual Celebrate Israel Parade

More than 40 Shaaray Tefila members and friends, clergy and staff joined the Celebrate Israel Parade (photo above)! We marched with other Reform congregations and NFTY-NAR in the ARZA (Association of Reform Zionists of America) contingent.
Our group gathered at the Temple for a bagel snack before heading downtown to the Parade! Notice the age range - from tots to grandparents and everything in between!
We also fielded a team of runners in the Celebrate Israel Run in Central Park prior to the Parade! Shown above, from left, are Melissa Miller, Rob Miller, Monica Whitcher, Hope Chernak, Nancy Benowitz Rosenberg, Shira Cohen, and Adam Rosenblatt.
