After you’ve made your project choices, you may register by email if you wish. Click here for email registration.

Our annual Spring Mitzvah Day is a congregation-wide day of hands-on community service and an opportunity to renew our communal commitment to engage in acts of tikkun olam, repairing the world and caring for those in need. On Sunday, May 18, Shaaray Tefila members of all ages may select from a wide range of projects, either at the Temple or at off-site locations, and with a variety of starting times.

Spring Into Social Action! brochures were mailed to every household in early April. Please select the project(s) you and your family wish to attend, and use the enclosed registration form. Or, follow the links below to access all of the information on our website. Please register by May 6!

Mark your calendar now for May 18, and take this opportunity to work with fellow congregants, set an example for our children, and have fun in the process!

Special note to families of Religious School students who attend on Sundays:

May 18 is the last day of class. We hope you will sign up for a project that begins after the conclusion of your session!

Community service credit is available to students for their participation.

If you would like to participate in Project #3, AIDS WALK NEW YORK, please use this link to register as a member of TEAM SHAARAY TEFILA at AIDS WALK NEW YORK.  Also submit your registration form to Shaaray Tefila.

Please note that Project #1, Yorkville Common Pantry is no longer available, and Project #5, John Jay Park Makeover is now closed.
