The Parenting Program offers classes which explore the wonders of child development and the joy of parent participation with fun and sensitivity. Within a Jewish setting, we seek to nurture your child's curiosity through play. With the expert assistance of our parent educator, parents meet weekly to share and discuss different views concerning life's stages, developmental issues and personal growth. In addition to this, parents and/or caregivers can join children for the Boker Twos and Gesher classes which offer gentle separation mid-year. These are year-long programs that run from September to May.
Priority for admission is given to:
1. Children and families currently enrolled in the Parenting Program.
2. Temple members (within this group, priority is given according to the length of your membership).
3. Non-members through a random selection.
Acceptance letters will be mailed to all families in March 2013.

Applications must be received by January 31, 2013. After this date, any remaining spots will be filled on a rolling admissions basis.

Gesher: Tuesdays and Thursdays,
11:45 am – 1:15 pm
For children two years of
age by September 30th 2013
Gesher
means bridge in Hebrew, and this class is designed to create a smooth
transition between our playtime class and drop off school. We have combined an
interactive experience for parents and children while working toward a gentle
separation mid year. You and your child will meet twice a week with other
families to create a nurturing, warm environment, building trust and self
esteem. Spend time with your child in our classroom, playing with inventive and
engaging materials while building relationships with classmates and teachers.
Shabbat and holidays are celebrated in an interactive approach;
circle time, movement, cooking, art, and snack are included, too.
Parent and Caregivers are
invited to participate in our weekly discussions with a parent educator on
Tuesdays. Each year, towards the winter, an appropriate schedule for a soft,
easy separation will allow for the individual needs of each child to
successfully say goodbye in due time. Discussions with our parent educator
will continue monthly after separation has been established in order to respond
to developmental issues and questions concerning the changing needs of your
family.
***FEE: $6,800 members, $7,300 non-members (twice weekly sessions)
Boker Twos: Tuesdays and
Thursdays, 9:10am-11:10am
For children two years of
age by September 30th 2013
For those families
interested in Gesher but who desire a
slightly longer class, Boker Twos is
a two hour session meeting twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Parents and Caregivers are welcome to join
their children in the classroom until a gentle, easy separation has been
accomplished. Weekly discussions with
our parent educators take place on Tuesdays and will switch to monthly discussions
after separation has been established.
***FEE: $9,300 members, $9,800 non-members (twice weekly sessions)
***Fees reflect 2012-2013 tuition. Please note that fees may increase for 2013-2014.***
