Connie Heymann
Connie is in her fourth year as Assistant Director of the Religious School. Previously she had been, for six years, the principal of a small Hebrew School in Upper Manhattan. She is happy to be here working with the talented teachers and the warm and knowledgeable staff at Shaaray Tefila. When she isn’t here, she enjoys traveling, enjoying the food experiences of New York City, and having adventures with her family. Connie is looking forward to ringing the bell with students who complete Mitkadem ramot again this year!

Liz Gross
Liz has been working in the Religious School office for over fifteen years. She is currently our Registrar and is happy to help you with any and all registration questions.  An opera aficionado, she enjoys the student performances at all the music schools in NYC.  While on vacation, Liz frequents the productions at Saratoga, Cooperstown and Bard  College.  She also hopes to become proficient in French, spending a week working intensively each spring!

Claire Levine
Claire has been the Administrative Assistant in the Religious School office since the fall of 2009. In addition to her work in the office, you can find Claire teaching 5th and 6th grades at TST. She loves the community TST builds, and especially loves bumping into students outside of class. Claire grew up in Minneapolis, MN. Between then and now she’s also lived in Chicago and Jerusalem. Claire is very excited to answer your questions in the office, and to work with this year’s 5th and 6th graders!

Rebecca Vogel
Rebecca has been the Administrative Assistant in the Religious School office since the spring of 2013. She is excited to get to know all of you in the coming months. Rebecca grew up in Denver, CO and is a proud NFTY MV alum. She has a degree in musical theater and is going back to school for school psychology. She loves traveling and enjoying the best food the city has to offer! Rebecca is happy to help with any of your questions and is thrilled to be a part of the wonderful TST community!
