Rabbi Joshua Strom : Assistant Rabbi

Rabbi Joshua Strom joined Shaaray Tefila as Assistant Rabbi in June 2008, after serving as our rabbinic intern the previous two years. He was ordained from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York in 2008.

Rabbi Strom received his Bachelor’s degree in English from Colgate University.  He grew up in suburban Philadelphia and was active in NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth) and URJ (Union for Reform Judaism) Camp Harlam. He is a talented singer and drummer.

Rabbi Strom and his wife Tali welcomed their first child, Jonah Abraham, into the world and the Covenant of the Jewish People in May, 2010.
