Development Director : Ann Targownik
Ann Targownik was appointed Shaaray Tefila's Director of Development in July 2008. She served as president of Temple Israel Reform Congregation of Staten Island (1994-1998), Executive Director of The Jewish Center of the Hamptons, East Hampton (2000-2005), and Executive Director of Stephen Wise Free Synagogue, NYC (2005-2008). Ann served on the Union for Reform Judaism Greater New York Council for ten years, is a senior member of the National Association of Temple Administrators (NATA), a member of the NATA Education Think Tank, served as MetroNATA's Vice President for Programming, and is an active member of the Reform Synagogues Development Professionals (RSDP).
Ann is an award-winning architectural and interior designer, with a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. She and her husband George have three adult children, Ari, Joshua, and Ramona, son-in-law Milton, and granddaughter Sydney.
