MITZVAH INC. is a volunteer opportunity for Shaaray Tefila congregants who want to do more!
It’s a monthly mitzvah project out in the community for an agency, organization, or facility that needs our help. Depending on the project, it may be on a weekday or weekend, day or evening, and open to various ages. Each month, we publicize the upcoming project in the weekly eNews and invite you to sign up. MITZVAH INC. is sponsored by our Social Action Committee.

WHAT: Help with lunch prep at one of Manhattan's largest soup kitchens
(no cooking; pour juice, butter bread, make fruit cups, etc.)
WHERE: Church of Saint Francis Xavier, 55 W. 15th St. (between 5th & 6th Aves.)
WHEN: SUNDAY, JUNE 9, 8:45-11:30 a.m.
ALL AGES WELCOME! (volunteers under the age of 14 must come w/an adult volunteer)
