Getting Involved at Shaaray Tefila
There are many ways to get involved with the Shaaray Tefila community. You can attend our programs, volunteer to serve our community, and participate in the decision-making of our congregation.
Temple members have many year-round opportunities to participate in volunteer projects. You will find a list of our ongoing mitzvah projects in the Social Action section of our website.
At Shaaray Tefila, there are multiple programs and activities on nearly a daily basis. Throughout this website, you’ll find a wealth of information about our congregation, as well as links to many Jewish community resources, locally, in Israel, and around the world.
In addition to bookmarking our website Calendar, here are the best ways to stay informed:
- Make sure you've given us your email address. Each Sunday morning, year round, we send you our Shaaray Tefila eNews containing highlights of the week ahead.
- Look for our Temple bulletin, The Messenger, in your mail. It arrives each month (September through June) and contains important news of upcoming events and updates on what’s going on in our schools and committees. (Or, sign up to receive an electronic link to The Messenger instead of the print copy.)
- Stop by the lobby rack to pick up flyers and reservation forms for programs.
So, make a list of programs and activities that interest you, then mark your calendar! We look forward to greeting you at worship services, festivals, educational programs, special events, and more.
